As a Grade 12 graduate from Peepal Prodigy School stepping into a new phase of life, my experience with Indo French Hub’s Immersion Programme in France from 20 April to 1 May 2026 became the perfect farewell journey before college, one filled with learning, friendship, adventure, and unforgettable memories. Having never learnt French before, I initially wondered whether adapting to a completely new language and culture would be difficult. But, this programme made everything feel incredibly enjoyable and natural. The teacher was extremely patient, interactive, and encouraging, making learning simple, engaging, and fun. Through conversations, activities, and real-life experiences, I slowly gained confidence and realised how exciting it is to learn and connect with a completely different culture. One of the most special parts of this journey was living in Brétigny-sur-Orge with a French host family. The stay was warm, comfortable, and deeply enriching. Sharing meals, understanding customs, spending time together, and experiencing everyday life in a French household made the journey feel authentic and personal rather than just a tour. Exploring Paris and its surroundings was absolutely magical. Watching the Eiffel Tower was breathtaking, and visiting iconic places such as the Louvre Museum, Montmartre, Galeries Lafayette, Disneyland Paris, and the Palace of Versailles created memories I will cherish forever. Cycling around Versailles with friends, exploring local cafés and shops, travelling through local gares, and simply walking through the beautiful streets of France made every day exciting and meaningful. What made this programme truly special was the balance between learning, exploration, independence, and fun. It allowed us to step out of our comfort zones, meet new people, understand a different way of life, and create friendships and memories that will stay with us forever. It was not just an educational trip, but an experience that helped me grow personally and become more confident and open-minded. I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to Madame Bijal Menon, Founder of Indo French Hub, for organising such a beautifully planned and meaningful programme. As an AS & A Levels coordinator, it was an absolute privilege to accompany my students from MET Rishikul Vidyalaya, Bandra, for the Spanish Immersion Program in Madrid, Spain, organized by Indo Spanish Hub/Indo French Hub in October 2025. The entire journey was a perfect blend of academic enrichment and cultural exploration. Living with host families, learning Spanish from native teachers, and experiencing the vibrant Madrid lifestyle gave my students and me invaluable insights into both the language and the culture. Navigating the city’s transport system and visiting its historic landmarks made the program truly memorable and impactful. I, Lamiyah Lehery, student of JBCN international school Parel participated in the Linguistic stay program organised by the Indo French Hub in June 2026. It was one of the best trips I have taken. This was because we stayed with French host families in a suburb of Paris.This taught us the french culture and lifestyle, and truly showed us the meaning of being independent. We attended a french school for a language course during our stay. This was extremely informative, because we focused on french speaking that was taught by a native teacher. This honestly helped me improve my fluency and my french accent. Throughout the trip we visited a lot of different french monuments and I learnt a lot of the french culture and history through my visit of the Eiffel Tower, Louvre museum and the palace of Versailles. Lastly this trip was so special because of Miss Bijal. She was so fun and informative. She has a lot of knowledge about Paris and all the places we visited and hence she was able to give us so many insights that truly made this trip a new learning experience for me. This was an absolutely magical experience where I not only learnt how rich and vibrant the french culture is, but also realised the importance of the ability to adapt to the environments we are in. The past ten days in France on the Indo French Hub immersion program this June 2026 have been an absolutely unforgettable adventure that taught me more than a textbook ever could. Living with a local host family completely threw me out of my comfort zone in the best way possible, turning initial language jitters into confident, everyday conversations over delicious French meals. From deciphering the metro system and exploring the massive halls of the Louvre to indulging in endless macarons and hunting for unique street-side finds, every day felt like a masterclass in independence. None of this would have been possible without Ms. Bijal, who was the ultimate mentor and friend, guiding us through the nuances of Parisian culture with so much humor, warmth, and patience. I am incredibly grateful to JBCN Parel and our school management for this phenomenal opportunity, and I want to say a massive thank you to Miss Bijal for making this journey a lifelong memory.

I was part of the jbcn parel/legacy cohort from June 1st to 10th, and this trip was an experience to remember. I not only learned more about the language, but also learned about the culture and lifestyle. Our host family-the Oukhmamous were very welcoming and kind and made their place feel like a home away from home. This was not my first time visiting here, but miss Bijal made me learn so much more about the city and I felt like I was here again for the first time. My name is Myra Jain, and I am a student at JBCN International School, Parel These were truly the best 10 days of my life. From exploring the beautiful streets of France and walking through mesmerising sights to navigating the metro and experiencing a sense of independence, every day was filled with unforgettable memories and new experiences. One of my favourite parts of the trip was taking the metro around the city, which made me feel more confident and independent. I also loved the cycling tour at Versailles, where we got to enjoy the stunning scenery while learning more about French history and culture. This programme is so much more than just learning French. It allows students to immerse themselves in the language, experience a new culture firsthand, build confidence, and create lifelong memories. I returned home with improved French skills, greater independence, and experiences that I will always cherish. A special thank you to Ms. Bijal for introducing us to this incredible opportunity and opening the door to a whole new world of experiences. Her kindness, encouragement, and support throughout the journey made it even more memorable. I would highly recommend this programme to any student considering it.

I, Ayaan Dani, a student of JBCN International School, Parel, participated in the French Immersion Program, June 2026 organized by Indo French Hub. The memories of the past 10 days have been etched in my mind, and are sure to he there for years to come. There were numerous aspects of this trip that were so new, yet thrilling to experience, things we wouldn’t have while travelling on our own. Firstly, we were truly immersed in the French culture. The opportunity to stay with French families allowed us to experience their way of life; meals were different yet delicious, homes were compact yet cozy. While the language barrier existed for the first couple of days, as the stay progressed, understanding French spoken by the families was a breeze, with them being extremely adjusting and making a sincere effort to help us understand. Of course, the main sights of Paris were inculcated into the program, each day focusing on a different part of the city, actually allowing us to deeply explore a monument without rushing it. The Palace of Versailles, the Louvre, and Fragonard Perfume Factory were the highlights of my trip! Furthermore, Paris is widely known for hosting some incredible dishes and this program allowed us to have a gastronomic tour of the entire city, tasting croissants, macaroons and pastries amongst other unique finds! And for shopaholics like me, this trip will provide you with a variety of opportunities to pick up luxury Parisian finds, and quaint street-side trinkets too. Moreover, Ms. Bijal, who accompanied us on this program, was the best friend/teacher/tour guide we could ever ask for! Her efficiency, knowledge, sense of humour and warm personality added up, making each and every one of us finding a sense of connection with her, making us never miss home. She has taught us things that are priceless; how to navigate a complicated transportation system, finding our way around a colossal museum and bargain like a charm! She would provide tips and tricks to adjust to the French culture, suggesting how we should behave and act to blend into our environment and family’s routine. In a nutshell, the immersion program has fostered a sense of independance within us, alongside acting as a booster pack to our French skills; each local conversation teaching us a new phrase which our textbook didn’t! I’m truly grateful to the school management and teachers for giving us this wonderful opportunity, and I hope we get a similar one with the Indo French Hub soon! Staying with a host family was one of the most unique aspects of the trip. While it felt unfamiliar at first, over time we built strong bonds and became very comfortable, gaining a real understanding of daily life in France. The experience also pushed us out of our comfort zones—whether it was trying new food, adapting to the weather, managing local travel, or communicating in French—helping us grow more independent and open-minded. I am truly grateful for this well-organized and unforgettable experience, and a special thanks to Miss Bijal for her constant support and guidance throughout the journey. This trip has given me memories and lessons that I will cherish forever.

A séjour linguistique that truly exceeded expectations! The 5-day training program in Lyon was exactly what we needed as French teachers — relevant, immersive, and beautifully curated.
