19th August 2018 - What a fun-filled evening! around 70 people gathered for the same reason - Love for the French Language! Screening of L'Homme de Rio presented by Mr Christophe Legris - Outgoing Attaché, French Embassy.
L'Homme de Rio is a French/Italian international co-production 1964 adventure film directed by Philippe de Broca and starring Jean-Paul Belmondo and Françoise Dorléac. This fast-moving spoof of James Bond-type movies features striking location photography by Edmond Séchan. At the 37th Academy Awards, the film was nominated for the Oscar for Best Writing, Story and Screenplay. The story has been inspired by the series of comic albums 'The Adventures of Tintin'.
Actor Rahul Vohra graced the event and made it interesting with his take on this movie. Thank you all for making this event a huge success.
